| Job Description | The Wellness Support Specialist is responsible for development and implementation of a new holistic prevention and wellness support service program for CODAC members, including group facilitation and other direct services related to wellness and health promotion.

| Job Requirements | Position Requirements Pre-employment Competencies/requirements:
- A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in physical education, nutrition, occupational/recreational therapy, health education or related health promotion field.
- Experience in health promotion/wellness programs with adults preferred.
Other:
- Extensive knowledge of community resources.
- Extensive knowledge of behavioral health challenges which include knowledge of the impacts of mental illness, domestic violence, and the dynamics of addictive behavior.
- Familiarity with various ethnic and cultural groups.

| Job Skills | - Intermediate to advanced computer skills using MS Office products, Word, Excel, Access, etc., importing/exporting data to/from applications.
- Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
